Executive Director of The Courts

Matt is a lifelong tennis player and enthusiast. His passion for tennis has remained strong since spending 7 years as a junior  player at the prestigious Bollettieri Tennis Academy. He was a regular practice partner to Venus and Serena Williams, Monica Seles, Michael Chang, Tommy Haas and other professionals. Matt achieved All American status at the University of Washington; along with a degree in Marketing and Advertising. As a touring professional, he travelled to more than 40 countries and became a top 500 ATP singles player. As a USPTA P1 credentialed professional, he has coached, supervised and managed programs (youth and adult) in some of the country’s finest private and public venues. Matt is excited to call McKinney his home and help build a thriving tennis center that the community will be proud of. Matt also oversees the tennis management at the Waco Regional Tennis and Fitness Center

Director of Tennis, USPTA Certified

Victor has a wealth of tennis experience from his high school days playing at the top of the line up in The Colony to still playing USTA tennis today. He has coached juniors and adults for over a decade and managed 10+ public tennis facilities totaling over 60 courts. Victor is also a USTA certified tournament director and ran 18 large tournaments last year alone. Victor will be wearing many hats at The Courts from assisting with office management, acquiring and running all of our tournaments, and also teaching on the court. He is excited to land in a facility that is continually growing and looks forward to meeting the thousands of tennis enthusiast that visit The Courts each month. 

Director of Junior Development

Bill has achieved a lot in his 25 years of coaching including Texas USPTA Pro of The Year. He was former Director of Junior Development at a nearby academy and brings great experience to the team. Bill was a collegiate national champion and All-American and uses this experience to pass onto the next generation. He has coached thousands of kids with many going on to play college tennis. Bill loves working with all players especially juniors with as much energy as he brings to the courts.

Adult Director

Craig Weymer started working for The Courts in 2013 and he is is excited about taking the role of Adult 

Tennis Director. Craig has worked as Tennis Director of a public tennis facility in Cape Coral. FL for 

several years before moving to Texas and working for Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco. He has coached 

at several facilities around the country and also worked in Corporate America for State Farm Insurance. 

Craig was a former Super champ junior player and #1 for Plano Sr. High. He brings great energy and 

attention to detail that makes any adult player feel excited about improving. For questions regarding the

Tennis Instructor & Racket Technician

James was born in England and has lived and coached in Puerto Rico, Connecticut, and New York. He loves working with beginners and has experince with special olympics players. He is USPTA, PTR, and USRSA certified and won the HERO award for handicapped programming from President Bush. He is married and has 3 dogs.With over 37 years of coaching experience The courts is happy to welcome James to the family.
