Registration – Registration for tennis classes at “The Courts” Tennis Center can be made on-line at www.mckinneytennis.org, through our pro shop located at 3253 Alma Road, McKinney, Texas or over the phone at (972) 547-2012. Class fee must be paid in full at time of registration.
Refunds – Participants may request refunds for classes up to three (3) business days before the program’s first class.

Medical refunds requested prior to the start date of the course/program will be granted in full with a doctor’s note. A doctor’s note must be presented for all medical refunds to be granted. A pro-rated refund will be granted for medical refund requests received during the course/program.
Inclement weatherand makeups – Any cancellations due to bad weather will be announced via Facebook (McKinney Tennis Center) and by calling the pro shop, if you are unsure if your class will be meeting. Classes cancelled due to inclement weather will be made up within two weeks by attending the same class on another day. 24 hour notice is required before attending a make-up class. Classes missed for personal reasons may be made up in the same manner as bad weather make-ups with a limit of one (1) makeup per session.
Holidays – Classes generally do not meet on legal holidays and school holidays. To be sure about your class schedule, please check with the desk.
Drills and Clinics – All drills and clinics must be paid in full at time of registration. Drills and clinics are limited to a maximum of 8 players with the exception of Net Attack which has a six (6) player limit. If a drill has only 2 players registered, the workout will be shortened to one (1) hour.
Ball Hoppers and Ball Baskets – May not be used unless approved by a Tennis Director.
Court reservations:

Free ball machine use is available to annual pass holders during the first and last hours of the day on a first come first serve basis. Some days may be restricted due to special events or inclement weather.

Annual pass holders may reserve this ball machine 8 days in advance. One booking per day. Only one machine is reserved for this benefit.

Annual pass holders may reserve a court eight (8) days in advance. Non pass holders (resident or non-resident) may reserve courts three (3) days in advance.

Pass holders may only reserve a tennis court for their own use.

Only ONE reservation per person per day may be made.

Reservations can be made for a minimum of thirty (30) minutes and a maximum of ninety (90) minutes.

The person making the reservation must show up and claim the court at the front desk.

Reservations are for A tennis court, specific courts are not guaranteed.

Court reservations are forfeited after 15 minutes.

Credit will be issued for unused rain out time.

Junior Court Use Program- Courts are available to juniors in our programs on a walk-on only basis. Reservations cannot be made. Juniors can use the court until reserved by other players.
Cancellations:

Ball machine cancellations – You must cancel your ball machine reservation by 6pm the evening before your reservation. If you fail to do so, the player who made the booking may be charged the rate of the ball machine regardless of whether the player is a member or ball machine pass holder. Failure to pay may result in a suspension of membership or loss of reservation privileges until the fee is paid.

Private lesson cancellations – You must cancel your private lesson 24hrs prior to your private lesson or you will be charged the full amount for the lesson that was booked.
Prohibited activities:

Alcohol consumption is prohibited on facility property.

Glass containers are prohibited on the courts.

Trash is to be placed in the provided containers.

Smoking is prohibited at The Courts and on park property.

No game other than tennis is to be played on the courts.

Excessive noise, racquet throwing and profanity are strictly forbidden.

Persons/spectators not playing tennis are to remain outside the fence for their own protection and liability reasons.
Tennis Instruction – Pass holders or guests are not permitted to bring a tennis instructor from outside The Courts for instruction purposes.
Discounts – Member discounts of 10% apply to adult drop-in classes, adult open drills, any private lessons (except with Coach Omar Trevino) and some non-sale retail items.
Advance bookings – No consistent advance bookings for any groups. Only one (1) court may be reserved per person. Regardless of being a team that is playing out of The Courts. We will not allow a booking longer than 90 minutes nor can anyone reserve a court more than eight (8) days prior to the date, assuming you are a resident member.
